I appreciated this reminder. I am trying to balance doing things that I think will make a difference in the election, like phonebanking for my candidate for President, vs. telling myself to not freak out completely if it doesn’t go my way. It’s kind of hard because I do believe a lot is at stake. But I also know that the things that will help my fellow human beings are the same things I would be doing regardless of who wins. Also, my church did a book study on the book “I Think You’re Wrong (But I’m Listening)” by Sarah Stewart Holland and Beth Silvers last year and it was super helpful.
